Chelsea have been linked with two top strikers in the space of last 48 hours. The Blues, who have already bought Michy Batshuayi from Marseille this summer, are reportedly looking to procure another striker before next season.
Italian football journalist Gianluca di Marzio has claimed that the West London club have made a bid of £50 million for their former player – Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian striker has earlier hinted that he could quit the Merseysiders this summer. Along with Chelsea, Lukaku has also attracted attention from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. The Toffees supposedly value the 23-year-old striker at £75 million.
Meanwhile, according to reports in France, the Blues have also made a move for Paris-Saint Germain striker Edison Cavani. French publication Le10 Sport claims that Chelsea have made a £41.7 million bid for the Uruguayan striker.
The report claims that the 29-year-old wants to leave the Ligue 1 champions despite the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the club. PSG have reportedly slapped a price tag of £67m on their striker.
