Manchester United ready to break the bank for Pogba, interest in winger confirmed

It seems like Manchester United are planning on having a busy transfer window this summer. Mail On Sunday has claimed that United are closing on a move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils have already secured three high-profile signings this summer, and now according to the Mail’s report, they are ready to pay word-record £100 million for the France international.

United are reportedly also ready to pay £250,000-a-week wages to their former player to lure him to Old Trafford. It should be noted that Pogba has the same agent as United’s other signings – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Manchester United are also interested in Mexican winger Hirving Lozano, according to ESPN. The 20-year-old plays for Mexican club Pachuca and has made 122 appearances for them.

ESPN Mexico has quoted Pachuca president Andres Fassi confirming United’s interest in the player. He told ESPN: “Is there already there is a negotiation with that team (United)? Yes… but there is still nothing (closed).”

Lozano is a Mexico international and represented his country in the recently concluded Copa America. Various other reports have claimed that he could sign for United within the next fortnight.
