Dutch international Vincent Janssen is one the most sought-after young strikers in European football at the moment. The AZ Alkmaar star has already attracted interested from a number of clubs with his recent performances for his club and country.
Premier League club Tottenham are one of the clubs interested in the 22-year-old and have already had their bid of £15 million turned down for the player.
However, it now seems like the North London club will finally get their target in the coming week. French publication L’Equipe (via Get French Football) has claimed that Janssen has turned down interest from Paris-Saint Germain because he wants to join Spurs.
The report claims that PSG managed to reach an agreement with Alkmaar but their approach was eventually turned down by the player. Janssen wants to play in Premier League next season and he expects that his current club will accept the new and improved offer from Tottenham.
Ligue 1 champions PSG are now expected to turn their attention towards Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. Janssen scored 27 goals for Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie last season.
