Paul Pogba “confirms” Juventus stay, Manchester United fans go crazy

Paul Pogba is still dominating all the media headlines with a record move from Juventus to Manchester United on the verge of being completed. However, now it seems the midfielder has confirmed his Juve stay.

According to multiple reports last week, United will offer Juventus £100 million for the services of the France international. The Premier League giants are also preparing a massive wage offer, which would translate to a staggering £11.1 million per season for a five-year contract. That would essentially be trebling his current salary in Turin.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid dropped out of the race for Pogba, with president Florentino Perez unwilling to put £100 million and the same wage offer on the table.

But could it be that the 23-year-old is staying at Juventus after all? When two Juventus fans, who own the Youtube channel Italian Football TV, asked the Frenchman, his response was pretty convincing.

“Paul, are you going to stay?” That’s the question Marco Messina is heard saying, to which Pogba responds: “Yes.” Then Messina adds: “Yeah?! At Juventus?” And Pogba responds again by saying: “Yes.”

Pogba arrived at Juventus in 2012 from Old Trafford after a public falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson. The France international made just three appearances in the English top flight before heading to Italy on a free transfer, but the Red Devils have remained interested in their former academy product.

The 23-year-old has won four consecutive Serie A titles and two Italian Cups with the Old Lady, while also reaching the Champions League final last season. He provided 10 goals and 16 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions this season, the first with the number 10 on his shirt.

However, a deal to United seemed very close this summer, meaning Red Devils fans went into meltdown mode on Twitter after seeing the video:
