Arsenal have been linked with a move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez recently. The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger further fuelled the speculation yesterday when he turned up to watch Leicester City’s friendly against Paris Saint-Germain.
beIN Sports managed to catch hold of the Frenchman for a brief interview and the inevitable question about Arsenal’s interest in Mahrez did crop up.
As usual, Wenger refused to comment on the transfer activities of his club, but he couldn’t contain his trademark cheeky smile when asked if the Gunners have bid for Mahrez.

Furthermore, French source Get French Football has claimed that the talks are ongoing between the North London club and Mahrez. The report also claimed that rumours claiming that the Algeria international has signed a new contract with the Foxes are false.
