Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is not ready to give up on his pursuit of Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin.
According to the reports, City made an approach to sign the Spaniard, but their approach was rebuffed by the Gunners.
In recent weeks, multiple reports have claimed that City are still interested in the player and will attempt to sign him next summer.
Now, the Sunday Times has claimed that Guardiola is ready to spend up to £40m to sign the Spain international.
The 21-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2011, has established himself as a first-team player at the North London club in last two years.
His performances for Arsenal last season earned him a spot in the Premier League Team of the Season.
However, Bellerin has a contract until 2019 with the Gunners, and it will be a really difficult job for City to
acquire their target.
The same report from the Times has also linked City with Valencia left-back Jose Luis Gaya.
The Spaniard has a £45m release clause, and it appears that City are ready to pay the amount to sign the 21-year-old.
