Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie is the latest big name to have been linked with a move to China.
The Dutch striker joined the Turkish club in a £5m move last summer, and he has been consistently linked with an exit from the club.
He has managed to score 17 goals in 35 league games in Turkey, but his time at the club has been anything but convincing.
The 33-year-old was also heavily linked with a return to Premier League during, but any move failed to materialise back then.
Now, Fotomac, via Goal, has claimed that Chinese Super League outfit Hebei Fortune are prepared to offer up to £12m for the Dutch striker during the January transfer window.
Van Persie is yet to start a game in the Turkish league this season and has made only four substitute appearances this far.
If the Chinese club are prepared to pay the stipulated amount for Persie, then it would be a no-brainer for Fenerbache as they would make a handsome profit on the player’s sale.
