Chelsea in talks over moves for German and Argentine defenders

Chelsea have submitted a formal offer for Roma’s Antonio Rudiger, according to Italian publication Il Tempo. The report states that the Blues have submitted a bid in the region of £23 million for the German international. Rudiger is currently on a loan spell at the Serie A club from Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart, but Roma are expected to make his deal permanent in the summer before selling him to Chelsea.
