South Korea striker to complete Sunderland deal

Sunderland are set to reveal their first signing of the summer, as South Korea forward Ji Dong-Won joins from Chunnam Dragons, according to a report in the Sunderland Echo.

A deal of £800,000 has been agreed for the striker who has also scored six goals in 11 caps for South Korea, including four in the 2011 Asian Cup.

Black Cats manager Steve Bruce is also reporteded to be interested in bringing another striker to the club, with Tottenham’s Peter Crouch the number one target.
