Fulham manager Felix Magath has claimed that his side are full of confidence going into their vital Premier League clash with relegation rivals Norwich on Saturday, according to Sky
The Cottagers go into the match-up five points behind their upcoming opponents and Premier League safety and will be hoping to deliver a crippling blow to the Canaries.
Magath has admitted that his side will be riding high after their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa last weekend and looking to grab another three points.
“You feel it this week, the players are free, laughing and so I think it was an important win to go on in fighting against relegation,” he said.
“We need another win in the next game and we will try against Norwich.
“They are not afraid to make mistakes and that is how we have to play and why I’m convinced we will stay in the league.
“The whole club now believes after the win at Aston Villa. It helps us a lot – this feeling and the atmosphere.”
Fulham will also be confident of facing a side who sacked their manager just four days ago and face an extremely tough run to the end of the season.
Despite Norwich’s bleak outlook, Magath has said that the focus is purely on the next game and that every game is important now.
“For us it doesn’t matter who is the opponent because we have only important games now,” added the 60-year-old.
“Norwich have a very bad schedule, they have very, very difficult games ahead. But they have changed their manager now and this will give them new energy so we will have to be careful.”
