With so many Hull City players currently on the treatment table, manager Steve Bruce admitted that they “cannot afford to lose any more”, reports Sky
The Tigers are involved in a relegation battle this season, with City enduring woeful form. Having so many players on the treatment table certainly won’t be helping their cause, and manager Bruce highlighted the scale of the problems at hand.
“Mohamed’s in a leg brace which will come off in a week or so then’s he’s got another 10-12 days of rehabilitation. Last time we played at Arsenal we lost Nikica Jelavic, we lost Michael Dawson and it’s taken us a long time to recover. On Thursday, we lost three or four and we have had two players go down with sickness this week and we simply can’t afford to lose any more,” he said.
