Hull City suffer double defensive injury in West Ham defeat

The treatment continues to rise in numbers at Hull City, with central defenders James Chester and Alex Bruce succumbing to injury in the 3-0 defeat against West Ham, reports BBC Sport.

Let alone Hull City losing away to the Hammers which has seen them finish the day in the relegation zone, the Tigers are now without two more important defenders to the side. They currently have Alex Bruce, James Chester, Abel Hernandez, Nikica Jelavic, Liam Rosenior, Andy Robertson, Mohamed Diame, Gaston Ramirez and Robert Snodgrass all out of action.

Chester suffered a dislocated shoulder following a challenge with United defender James Collins, while Alex Bruce was substituted with a thigh injury in the game. He’s “touch and go” according to manager and father Steve Bruce, who also said it’s “hands to the pump” for the struggling Tigers.
