Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal after respected South American journalist Hernan Feler broke the news via Twitter that the Chilean will complete a move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.

Reports in Italian publication CalcioMercato over the weekend had claimed that the player had already agreed terms with the club. And now Feler says the player will join his international team-mate Alexis Sanchez in North London following the end of the Copa America tournament.
News of this transfer is somewhat of a surprise given how much of a key player Vidal is to Juve as he has been a significant part of their success in recent seasons. He has helped the Serie A champions reach the Champions League final against Barcelona.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is expected to strengthen his squad in the summer as he looks to end the club’s long wait for a Premier League trophy.
