Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has failed to distance himself from rumours linking him with Juventus star Arturo Vidal – with The
The Gunners boss was speaking ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Aston Villa, and revealed that while he is an admirer of the player, he is not looking at the potential incomings and outgoings before the Wembley showdown, the Daily Mirror report.
Wenger said: “If I tell you I like him, you will announce the transfer just after that. If you want me to say I like Arturo Vidal, yes I like Arturo Vidal. Are we in a transfer mode? I say, no.”

Vidal’s energy in the middle of the park has been critical to their success this season. He is one of the best box to box midfielders in Europe, so it is little surprise that some of the continent’s best teams are looking to bring him in.
