The agent of Hoffenheim star and Manchester United target Roberto Firmino has confirmed that the Brazilian is on his way to the Premier League this summer.
According to the Metro, Roger Wittmann could not specify where his client would be playing his football next year, but hinted that he’s moving to an English club.
“All I can say is that he will move to England,” he said.
The Daily Mirror had reported last week that a bid from Louis van Gaal’s side of around £13m had been accepted for the 23-year-old, who had enjoyed an excellent season in the Bundesliga. He scored seven times, and managed to register ten assists for his teammates, suggesting that he will offer van Gaal a lot of options.
However, it is possible that the Old Trafford side are not the ones to have secured his signature. The Metro report that Liverpool are also in the running for the playmaker, although their interest appears to have cooled in recent times, suggesting that he will not be heading to Merseyside.
