There has apparently been one late twist in Petr Cech’s proposed move to Arsenal as the Blues are refusing to allow goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon follow the 33-year-old across the city to the Emirates, according to the Metro.
The veteran shot stopper underwent a medical with the Gunners on Friday afternoon after agreeing personal terms on an £11m move.
Lollichon joined Chelsea back in 2007, and has now worked with Cech twice, having first teamed up with him whilst the pair were at French side Rennes together.
Cech is said to have requested Lollochon come with him on his move to north London, but the coach has confirmed that talks about that part of the deal being agreed have yet to go ahead, with the Blues thought to be unwilling to allow him to follow.
“For now, it does not matter. No contact has been made,” said Lollichon.
“I do not know if this has been discussed between the two clubs, but I do not think Chelsea will be favourable.”
