According to the Daily Mirror, the veteran stopper is reportedly keen on a move across the capital, having the lost his place in the Blues’ starting line up to Thibaut Courtois. Accepting that they cannot keep their loyal servant on the bench for another season, the Premier League champions are willing to let him leave, but would much rather that he chose Paris Saint-Germain instead.

But, signing Cech would finally provide them with a presence between the sticks that could compete with both David Seaman and Jens Lehmann. With so much quality already in the squad, the Chelsea goalkeeper may be the final piece in a title-winning jigsaw.
