The Turkish international’s future at the Vicente Calderon has been thrown into doubt recently after he took to Twitter to announce that he is in talks with ‘three or four’ different clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

And now reports in Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport are claiming that the Red Devils have stolen a march on his signature by agreeing to meet his £29.2m release clause.
Should the move come off, he would be the Louis van Gaal’s second major summer signing, joining fellow new boy Memphis Depay at the club, and would put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal.
United are in the process off attempting to reshape their squad this summer, and have already lodged a £28.6m offer for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
It has been rumoured that United will undergo a £150m spending spree in the coming weeks.
