Manchester City News and Goals
The Argentine international has been a target for Real Madrid recently, fuelling speculation that he could be on his way out of the Etihad in the coming weeks.
However, in the exclusive interview with Goal, he revealed his true feelings for the club, and even gave a huge hint over where he sees himself for the foreseeable future.
“The truth is I’m very happy. I’m enjoying these four years that I’ve had at City and there are still many more years to come. I’m very happy,” he said.
He even went on to address the poor season City have just had, that saw them lose their Premier League crown to rivals Chelsea, stating that the club will look to build and improve next term ahead of a renewed challenge for honours.
“Every year City try to improve the team and the club always wants us to win titles.
“City are prepared to win titles every year, obviously the Champions League is a great competition and I think that City are doing everything to win it. Every year I try to do things right, every year I try to improve even more and my responsibility is to try to do my best so City win titles.”
Since arriving from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011, Aguero has gone on to fire away an impressive 107 goals in 162 appearances across all competitions for the club.
