The agent of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has reportedly already held talks with Arsenal over a summer move just hours after the club’s FA Cup win over Aston Villa on Saturday, according to the Metro.
The Chilean’s representative, Fernando Felicevich, was at Wembley to watch Arsene Wenger’s men lift the trophy, and saw his other major client, Alexis Sanchez, score a stunning second to help them on their way.
However, though he was invited to the game by Sanchez, the Metro claim that reports in Italy are reporting that Arsenal officials met with Felicevich after the final whistle.
Arsene Wenger played down the deal during his post match press conference, but it is thought that he remains very keen to strike a deal for the Juve man in the coming weeks.
Juventus had been hoping to keep hold of the 28-year-old beyond the summer, but are now said to be willing to do business for a fee in the region of £28.5m.
