Manchester United’s hopes of landing Barcelona star Pedro have reportedly been boosted after Luis Enrique found a replacement for the 28-year-old.
According to the Metro,
The Spanish international was allowed to leave the Nou Camp in 2011, having only made two La Liga appearances for the side, but has now established himself as one of the best players not currently playing for one of the division’s biggest sides.
He has recently enjoyed his best season – where he scored 13 times, and grabbed another 13 assists – and thus, has returned to the attention of the Barcelona hierarchy.
United fans will be pleased to see the deal completed, as the Metro suggest that it should free up Pedro to move to the Premier League.
