Real Madrid have apparently opened the door for Karim Benzema’s move to Arsenal after a report in the Metro
The Gunners are said to be in the market for new options up front, with Benzema said to be at the top of the list after Arsene Wenger personally phoned the France international to discuss a move this summer (via the Daily Mirror).
He had initially turned down a move to north London, but reports in Spain are now claiming that Madrid are open to moving him on and are even now attempting to force him out.
The Metro claim that Real are keen to cash in on him this month and with new coach Rafael Benitez set to play Cristiano Ronaldo through the middle next season he is willing to move the France international on.
