Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has been snapped in the midst of a happy embrace with club president Florentino Perez this week, raising doubts about whether he will be on his way to Manchester United over the summer.

The Spanish international has reportedly been unhappy at Real’s latest contract offer, prompting United boss to launch a £28m bid for his services (via Sky Sports).

However, the image below would suggest that he is far from unhappy at the club, as he met the president at the club’s Valdebebas training ground on Thursday.

With just one-year left on his current deal, United were hoping to force Real into a cut price sale as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his defensive options ahead of the new season.

However, goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who has also been tipped to leave the club for Portuguese giants Porto (via Goal.com), was all smiles, too. Considering both are supposed to be unhappy at the moment, they’re doing a funny job of showing it.
