Barcelona president says no players will be leaving this summer, including Man United target Pedro

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has said that he doesn’t envision any departures from the club this summer and has revealed that they are still yet to receive an offer from Manchester United for winger Pedro, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Red Devils are reported to be interested in signing the Spanish international as a replacement for Angel Di Maria, who is closing in on a move to Paris Saint Germain.

Armed with a release clause of just £22m, the Mirror reports that Pedro is keen to leave the Nou Camp this summer after falling out of favour behind Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar.

However, speaking with ESPNFC, club president Bartomeu has said that he doesn’t see Barcelona allowing any players to leave the club this summer.

“The team is what it is,” said Bartomeu. “It has been put together. We have the team that our coach wanted it’s done and completed.

“We don’t foresee any departures from the team. I’ve read many things about a Pedro departure, but no one has officially addressed our club. Our squad is complete.”

It is thought that Di Maria will complete his move to PSG in the very near future (via Manchester Evening News), and the Mirror even reports that the Argentine international was fined two weeks wages for failing to link up with the rest of the squad in San Jose on their pre-season tour of the United States.
