Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is closing in on an Old Trafford exit, after the Metro
The 33-year-old has reportedly accepted a two-year deal with the Turkish side (via Metro), and is now ready to call time on his Premier League career after just two top flight appearances.
Sadly, the final few months of Valdes’ time with the Red Devils was shrouded in controversy after he engaged in a very public feud with manager Louis van Gaal.
The Dutchman revealed that he planned to sell the former Barcelona stopper after he reportedly refused to play in the reserve side, the Daily Telegraph reported. However, the World Cup winner highlighted on social media that he has featured regularly for the second team, and questioned the apparent lack of respect (via Telegraph).
Like David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard, Valdes has been forced to watch United’s opening games of the season from the stands, having not been included in any of the matchday squads thus far.
