Man United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits he could have played last game for Paris Saint-Germain

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has fuelled speculation that he is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, after revealing that his appearance in the French Super Cup may be his last for Laurent Blanc’s men, the Daily Mirror report.

“It could be that this was my last game for PSG,” he simply stated.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a switch to the Premier League during this window, with both Chelsea and Manchester United touted as possible destinations for the Swede (via Mirror).

The fact that the Blues already have a cluster of forwards ahead of the new season would suggest that it would be Louis van Gaal that would be more likely to bring him to England.

Having let Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao move on, the Red Devils are looking rather thin in terms of goalscorers with just Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez – who was told he was allowed to leave this summer (via Manchester Evening News) – as the only senior options available currently.

And while the Dutchman may have been alerted by the maverick forward’s comments, it appears that he may have already missed out.

The Mirror report that former club AC Milan are the favourites for his signature, having offered a three-year deal with an option for a further year, while Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have made their interest known with bids of their own.
