Chelsea could finally complete a big money move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in January, according to a top football agent, the Metro
Jose Mourinho is known to be a big admirer of the 22-year-old, and chased his signature throughout the summer after it had been revealed that there were discussions between the club and his representatives.
The move failed to get off the ground before Tuesday’s transfer deadline, but that won’t be a problem come the new year as agent Mesrun Izzet believes the deal will finally go ahead when the January window opens.
“Chelsea could sign Pogba when the transfer window opens again,” he told by Turkish Football.
“That would then open the door for John Obi Mikel to sign for Besiktas.”
However, Juve are warning any interested parties that the France international will be valued at around €100m in the new year, so only the game’s elite will be able to fork out that kind of money for his services.
