Saido Berahino vows to never play for West Brom again as fourth Tottenham bid is rejected

Saido Berahino has sensationally claimed that he will never play for West Brom again, after the Baggies rejected a fourth bid for the striker from Tottenham, according to BBC Sport.

The 22-year-old has clearly been earmarked by Mauricio Pochettino as a potential partner for Harry Kane, as Sky Sports News HQ revealed that the White Hart Lane outfit have made two bids for the forward on deadline day.

The Midlands side have stood firm and resisted interest from their Premier League rivals by rejecting both bids. However, the England under-21 international has blasted the club for denying him the move, and has hinted that he feels that he has been treated badly.

The incredible reaction from Berahino may well have been done to convince West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace that he has no choice but to allow him to join Pochettino’s side. However, if a deal fails to go through, his public message could have a very negative impact on his career.

It is unlikely that should he remain a West Brom player, and be welcomed back into the fold by Tony Pulis, that the fans will allow him to forget how badly he wished to leave the Hawthorns.
