It was quite a bizarre Saturday for Chelsea skipper John Terry. The defender was guilty of scoring an own goal to give Everton a 1-0 lead at Stamford Bridge.
However, almost 48 minutes of frantic football later he popped up on the opposite end to score the equalizer for the Blues on the 90+8th minute of the game. The game ended 3-3, with all goals coming in the second half.
See how Terry went from being a zero to a hero on Twitter:
Why didn’t John Terry celebrate his goal. It’s not as if he scored against his former club or something.

Even though it’s probably better for us if Chelsea win, I sure do love to see John Terry score an own goal.

Spurs win, England win and then John Terry sticks it through his own net. Reckon it could be a night for opening the good wine…

John Terry own goals are particularly sweet. And this one is pretty funny! Kicks it into his own leg and ricochets into the net. Nice.
