Real Madrid ready to sell Manchester United target

Manchetser United have recently been linked with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Tony Kroos.

French source A Bola (as reported by Metro) are now claiming that the La Liga giants have agreed to sell the German midfielder. According to the report, Los Blancos are demanding a transfer fee of £40 million for their player.

The 26-year-old midfielder arrived at Santiago Bernabeu in a £22.3 million deal from Bayern Munich in 2014.
He has provided seven assists in 18 league appearances this season for Real.

The Galacticos plan to fund a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edison Cavani with the money from Kroos’ sale.

Real Madrid have recently been hit with a transfer ban for next two transfer windows, and President Fiorentino Perez wants to add another striker to the squad as a contingency plan in case the club fail in their appeal to overturn the ban.

Cavani’s situation at PSG is also considered to be precarious, and manager Laurent Blanc has suggested that the striker could leave the club in near future.

“There is a problem with Cavani’s behaviour, but my job is to think of the entire squad as a collective,” said Blanc according to The Daily Mail.

“We did hold a staff meeting and among the various issues, we discussed were Cavani and his complaints. The desires of the individual can’t affect the rest of the team.”
