Chelsea skipper John Terry might not have played his last game for the Blues after all.
The 35-year-old’s current deal is expiring in the summer and the West London club season had announced earlier this January that they won’t be offering a new deal to the defender.
However, the Blues have now changed their mind and have offered Terry, who is ineligible to play in the season-ending game against Premier League champions Leicester City, a new one-year deal.
The latest development was announced in during the manager Guus Hiddink’s press conference ahead of Sunday’s clash with The Foxes.
It is announced in the press conference that John Terry has been offered a one-year contract extension. John is considering the offer. #CFC

Terry is currently serving a two-game suspension after receiving his second red card of the season in the defeat against Sunderland last week. He had previously stated his desire to stay at the club beyond the summer and urged for a new deal from the club.
It is understood that Terry has attracted a lot of interest from clubs at home and abroad, like China. However, it now appears that he will be staying at Stamford Bridge at least for one more season.
Chelsea fans are obviously happy with the news.
Absolutely buzzing that John Terry has been offered a one year deal. Up to you now captain.
