Manchester United have one of the highest brand values in European football

According to brand analytics group Brandtix (via Sky Sports), Manchester United have one of the highest brand values in European football and the biggest one in the Premier League.

Brandtix reviews the performances of professional athletes and teams both on and off the pitch in order to discover their true brand values.

As well as official player and team accounts, the Brandtix platform also monitors relevant fan channels, the official pages of associated brands and any interaction between players/teams and their fans.

Despite missing the Champions League this season, United have the highest brand value of all Premier League teams, with Chelsea coming in second. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City fill out the top five.

The Red Devils’ brand also ranks very high when looking at all European clubs, trailing only La Liga giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, which is in line with Deloitte’s football rich list for the 2014/2015 season.
