Manchester United are once again prepared to splash a huge amount of money in the transfer window. According to the report in the Sun, United have put Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the top of their transfer wishlist.
The France international has been in sensational form for Atletico this season and has scored 30 goals in all competitions for the Madrid club. The 25-year-old is expected to cost £65 million in the transfer window, with the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in his services.
The report claims that Mourinho, who is expected to take charge at Old Trafford in the summer (or is he?), is a fan of Griezmann and has instructed United to pursue the forward.
The Red Devils are also preparing to launch a £75 million bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon international has scored 36 goals for his club in all competitions this season and has attracted interests from a number of major clubs in Europe.
Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Arsenal are some of the clubs that have been linked with the 26-year-old.
