Arsenal youngster Hector Bellerin is one of the most talented players in the Premier League at the moment.
The 21-year-old was picked up in the Premier League Team of the Year and recently made his way into the Spain’s Euro squad. His sudden rise to stardom has understandably attracted the attention from other top clubs, with Barcelona, in particular, heavily linked with a move for their former academy student.
However, according to Spanish publication Sport, Arsenal are currently involved in talks with the Spanish youngster over a new deal. Bellerin’s current deal with the North London club expires in 2019, and the club have offered a new deal with an extension of two years to the player.
The right-back has previously stated his desire to stay with Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Brazilian publication called Hoje em Dia has linked the Gunners with a move for Brazilian left-back Douglas Santos. Santos currently plays for Atletico Mineiro and has been called to the national squad.
The 22-year-old has also attracted the attention of Barcelona and Valencia, with the Catalan club currently leading the pursuit to sign the player. He is expected to cost around £7.7 million.
