Arsenal have once again been linked with Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. The Senegal international has attracted a lot of interest in his services this summer on the back of his impressive performances in Serie A last season.
Chelsea are said to be leading the pursuit for the 25-year-old and have already established contact with the Naples. However, according to RMC’s football journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, the Gunners also maintain a huge interest in the player.
Everton are another club that are interested in Koulibaly, who is reportedly valued at £30 million by Napoli.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s interest in Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has been dismissed by the president of the Ligue 1 club.
The Gunners have been consistently linked with a move for the French striker of late, but Lyon president Jean-Michal Aulas has revealed that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has made no enquiries about the 25-year-old.
Aulas also added that he expects Lacazette to remain at Lyon for the next season. “I saw Arsene during France matches and he has not told me [of his interest in Lacazette],” he told L’Equipe.
“I don’t think it’s something and it seems Alex wants to spend this season with Lyon in the new stadium. He wants to know an adventure in the Champions League could be much better than last season. I think he will stay with us and we are very happy.”
Despite the dismissal of interest in Lacazette, Arsenal continue to search for a proven goal scorer in the transfer market, after already being snubbed by Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy.
