The defensive midfielder has become one of the most-sought-after players in Europe following his exploits in the league-winning season with the Foxes.
The likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Shanghai SIPG had all reportedly expressed their interests in the player.
Kante, who represented France in the recently concluded Euro 2016, moved to Leicester in a £5.6 million deal from Ligue 1 club Caen last summer and reportedly had a £20 million release clause in his contract with the Foxes. A figure Chelsea transchended in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old defensive midfielder.
