Manchester United have been linked heavily with Paul Pogba, with reports claiming the Red Devils are ready to make a record £100 million bid for the Juventus midfielder.
The Premier League giants are also preparing a massive wage offer, which would translate to a staggering £11.1 million per season for a five-year contract. That would essentially be trebling his current salary in Turin.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid dropped out of the race for Pogba, with president Florentino Perez unwilling to put £100 million and the same wage offer on the table.
That seemed to open up the door for the Red Devils to land the 23-year-old from Juventus, but Raiola hasn’t talked to Pogba during Euro 2016, while being the subject of some controversy. A report by The Times (via 90min) revealed he’s in for a huge payday if Pogba leaves Juventus, landing a £24 million commission package.
However, on Monday Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola had some very bad news for the Red Devils, as he has claimed the 23-year-old could remain in Turin after all.
Meanwhile, United fans are split on what their club should do: put the money on the table for Pogba or not…
Pogba so hyped in all his pride and overrated self, shouting at Sissoko and Gignac who were more useful than he was tonight. Fraud!

Mad how this great France side bottled it.Pogba was so average today. He showed his age. He’s a massive talent but clearly not world class yet

Pogba had a strange tournament. At times looked liked one of world’s best, at other times not so much. He’s 23, consistency expected soon.

After watching the tournament, Pogba for £100m is the biggest joke in football.

Pogba didn’t have a bad game. Did what was asked of him. But because he’s linked with big money move to Utd he was rubbish. State rival fans
— Mark (@Mark_Champ20ns) 11 juli 2016
On Pogba’s performance tonight, I wouldn’t offer Juventus a freddo let alone £100m. The transfer market is ridiculously inflated this summer

If United still want to pay £100m for Pogba after that, they are fully mad. Man got outshone by a relegated Newcastle player
— Akaash (@Akaash321) 10 juli 2016
Pogba awful at the euros. Hard to see 100m. Would rather sign matuidi
— Andy (@andyl1001) 10 juli 2016
Paul Pogba proven fraud. Done nothing in this whole tournament yet he’s apparently worth 100m
— Jamie (@FinallyNoble) 10 juli 2016
BREAKING: United pull out of bidding war for Pogba as they’ve realised he’s a fraud.
— Rory Hunter (@RezCoD) 10 juli 2016
#Pogba may go on to be a legend but at this Euro’s he has been beyond ordinary and the valuation of 100 mill is 1 zero off reality
— tim caple (@timcaple) 10 juli 2016
If Pogba is worth £100 million I’m worth at least £4 million
— Danny Wheeler (@dannywheeler95) 11 juli 2016
If pogba doesn’t come I’m not bothered.. he’s not worth 100 Million.. I’d rather spend 100 Mill on players who want to play for us..
— The GIF King (@brandongMUFC) 11 juli 2016
100 mill is too much for Pogba… #ManUHavSense
— Papa Ash (@GMAKGOLDENBOY) 11 juli 2016
Pogba may stay at Juve… I could live with that!! Better ways to spend 100 mill
— _Rorkii (@ScottRorky1991) 11 juli 2016
Pogba 100 mil? I’ve never saw such an average player. @rubey_lcheek is a much better than what Pogba was at 19.
— Jayson Dino (@JayJaysondino) 11 juli 2016
Don’t even rate Pogba !?!? Don’t know what all the fuss is about him ? #mufc forget about it and spend 100 million on better players !!!!
