Tottenham have received a huge injury boost ahead of their all-important London derby with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
According to the latest murmurs on Twitter, star striker Harry Kane is expected to feature in Spurs’ matchday squad on Sunday.
The England international had suffered a ligament injury in the league win over Bournemouth on March 11, and he was expected to be ruled out until mid-April.
However, Alasdair Gold, Spurs correspondent for football.london, has claimed that Kane has made a quick recovery, and he is in the matchday squad for the game. It is expected that Son Heung-min will lead Spurs attack in the game, and Kane could start on the bench.
I understand a certain Harry Edward Kane is in Spurs' matchday squad for tomorrow's game at Chelsea. I said a couple of weeks back that he always had this game in mind to return. That he's done it shows the man really is a machine.

If this news is true, it’s a huge boost for Spurs who have endured a terrible record at Stamford Bridge. The North London side haven’t registered a win at Stamford Bridge since 1990, and even though they are in great form, they would start as second favourites on Sunday.
Liverpool and Manchester United have already picked up wins on Saturday, so the pressure will be on both London clubs to follow suit.
As things stand, Spurs occupy the fourth spot, and they have a five-point lead over Chelsea. However, a Chelsea win will leave them in a strong position to overhaul their opponents in the last weeks of the season. Spurs have previously faltered on similar occasions, so the pressure would be on them to not slip up in the final weeks of the season.
Meanwhile, this game is a must-win for Chelsea if they want to preserve their spot in Champions League football next season.
