Newcastle sign striker and still interested in Baggies star

Relegation-threatened Newcastle have added to their attacking options by signing Senegalese striker Seydou Doumbia on-loan for the rest of the season from Serie A club Roma, according to the BBC. The Magpies are also reportedly looking into signing West Brom striker Saido Berahino. The 28-year-old made his name in European football at Russian giants CSKA Moscow, scoring a very creditable 66 goals in 108 league appearances for CSKA.
