Wolves chairman Steve Morgan views Alan Curbishley as possessing all the attributes required to become the club’s next manager, TEAMtalk
Along with Steve Bruce and Neil Warnock, Curbishley has been shortlisted to fill the void created by Mick McCarthy’s departure, following Sunday’s 5-1 home defeat by West Brom, with each candidate set to be interviewed tomorrow.
However, Curbishley’s managerial profile is one which Morgan admires. “He’s got a great track record, he’s been there and done it before, and he’s exactly the calibre of person that we’re looking for,” declared Morgan of Curbishley, who himself stated an interest in the vacant manager’s role at Molineux during an interview with Sky Sports.
“If I get the phonecall then I”ll talk to him. I’ve been favourite for things before and nothing’s happened so we’ll see what happens.”
