Donovan sees Everton Future

Landon Donovan has indicated that he is enthusiastic about the prospect of signing a permanent contract with Everton, after his current deal with L.A Galaxy expires, TEAMtalk reports.

Following the completion of his second loan spell with the Toffees, the first being over the course of January and February 2010, the 29-year-old is set to return to the U.S to resume his career with L.A Galaxy, where he is committed to staying to honour his contractual obligations.

Thereafter, Donovan implies he would be open to a long-term move to Everton, although conceding it it would be a difficult decision to sever all playing ties with the Galaxy.

“It would be hard to go to any other club now so if anything were to happen I would imagine it would be here at Everton. My commitment is for two more years to the Galaxy and we’ll see what happens after this year but I would obviously welcome the opportunity to come back,” said Donovan.
