Luis Suarez has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Liverpool, according to ESPN.co.uk.
But the 26-year-old has reaffirmed his commitment to the Reds ahead of this weekend’s derby with Everton, despite the fact he will miss the club’s first seven games of next season.
Suarez said: “I have a deal with Liverpool and this is my present – and future. From the day I arrived, I saw how special this derby is, so it is a pain to miss it. But we have a big squad which can function without me.”
The former Ajax frontman has been in fantastic form for Brendan Rodgers’ men this season, scoring 23 league goals and earning himself a nomination for PFA Players’ Player of the Year.
Bayern Munich and incoming coach are believed to be keen admirers of Suarez and have been tipped to make a bid to tempt him to the Allianz Arena in the summer.
