It seemed only a week ago that Real Madrid’s had waved adios to any hopes of signing Welsh wizard, Gareth Bale, however, according to the Daily
However it has now been suggested that Real Madrid have told Bale’s representatives that he must push for a Tottenham exit, or risk the possibility that they will not come back in for him next season, ending chances of his dream move coming to fruition.
Throughout the summer, Madrid had made Bale their top target, but consistent rejection talk from Andre Villas-Boas seemed to defer from that fact that Bale wanted out of White Hart Lane, which has now been confirmed by the reports that he has stalled on signing a new contract at the club – a fact was confirmed by Villas-Boas yesterday when he revealed that Bale has so far failed to agree a stay beyond his current contract, despite months of negotiation.
That will raise concerns amongst Spurs fans however, there is some hope to hold onto as Madrid have threatened not to pursue their interest in Bale beyond this summer, if a deal is not done soon.
It seems as though the ball is firmly in Bale’s court, he must push for a move to the Bernabeu or risk missing out on every player’s dream move.
