Fulham have completed the transfer deadline day signing of Olympiakos striker Kostas Mitroglou, according to Sky
The Greece striker makes the move to Craven Cottage on a four-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has been in prolific form so far this season, coming to London as the Greek Super League’s top scorer with 14 goals, including four hat-tricks with one being scored in the Champions League.
The forward started his career in Germany but moved to Greek side Olympiakos in 2007 where he has now notched 62 goals in 148 appearances for the club.
Fulham’s latest signing comes following the departure of star striker Dimitar Berbatov on loan to Monaco.
The Bulgarian, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has been allowed to travel to Monaco to undergo a medical with the Ligue 1 side.
West Ham also made a bid to secure the Greek international’s services but the player opted to join the West London side instead.
The new signing of Mitroglou adds to Fulham’s earlier acquisition of midfielder Lewis Holtby who has joined on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.
