Fulham defender John Arne Riise has said that he is fully focused on helping his side survive Premier League relegation this season, according to Sky
The Cottagers are currently just two points behind Norwich and Premier League safety following their recent back-to-back wins.
The former Liverpool man, whose future is up for speculation at the end of the season, has stated that he will put his own issues on hold in order to focus on Fulham’s relegation battle.
“Right now, I am doing everything I can to help Fulham to stay in the Premier League,” said the Norwegian.
“Nothing else matters right now. The future I will think about after the season.
“Then, I will be free and can choose whatever I want and where. I will certainly not stress (over) my choice.”
With just four games remaining, Fulham have given themselves hope of avoiding the drop with wins against Aston Villa and fellow strugglers Norwich.
Unfortunately for the Canaries, their remaining four games see them face table toppers Liverpool and second place Chelsea.
Despite Norwich’s difficult final stretch, Fulham also face tough challenges in the form of Tottenham, Hull, Stoke and Crystal Palace and they aim to stay in the top flight.
