Hull City manager Steve Bruce hoping Everton draw will spur the side on during tricky Christmas period

After rescuing a draw against Everton, Hull City manager Steve Bruce is hoping his side can now build on the well-earned point ahead of a difficult run of games to come, reports Sky Sports.

“We needed a lift. Hopefully that will give it to us ahead of an important month. We have seven games, it’s a vital part of the season coming up and hopefully this result will give everyone a lift. It’s a ferocious league and difficult at times,” he said.

Hull City, like the rest of the Premier League, see their fixtures come thick and fast, where bad form can see them into the relegation zone, while a few wins could see them climb the table. The Tigers are currently out of the bottom three on goal difference, but the next month could be make or break.
