Burnley 2-3 Crystal Palace: Clarets throw away two goal lead as Palace complete miraculous comeback

Burnley threw away a 2-0 lead again this time against Crystal Palace, with manager Alan Pardew maintaining his 100% record since his arrival, reports BBC Sport.

Burnley took the lead in the 12th minute through Ben Mee. The Clarets defender headed home from a Kieran Trippier corner to put the relegation-threatened outfit ahead early on.

They doubled their lead minutes later through striker Danny Ings. The heavily coveted front man netting from Scott Arfield’s pass to put Crystal Palace in danger of defeat.

But Dwight Gayle pulled a goal back for the visitors before the break, and minutes into the second-half, Jason Puncheon levelled the game.

Not content with a point, the Eagles found a winner in the dying minutes of normal, with Dwight Gayle scoring his second of the game.
