Hull City manager Steve Bruce has admitted he’s looking at signing ex-Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe, reports BBC
“If he becomes available, which I believe he is, then we’d love to do something. I think it might be too expensive, but it’s not a bad bit of speculation. You ask any club in the bottom of the division about Defoe, all of us would say ‘yes’. Whether we can do it financially is another problem,” he said.
Hull City had been struggling with a lack of goals this season, and have been looking to amend their problems in attack to boos their survival chances in the Premier League. Jermaine Defoe, now of Toronto, has been in good form in the MLS, scoring 11 goals in 18 league games.
