According to Sky Sports, Burnley have made a £3M for West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans.
The Scotland international has been a regular for the Baggies this season, but will be available for transfer according to head coach Tony Pulis. The initial bid isn’t likely to be accepted, but the two clubs are in close talks to push the deal through.
Burnley are desperate for some creativity, as well as needing a player who is industrious and fit’s the Clarets’ philosophy. It’s unknown, however, if Dorrans is happy with making the move on deadline day, as he’s been comfortable with the Baggies this campaign, and hasn’t made any words suggesting he’s seeking a move elsewhere.
Sean Dyche’s men don’t have a big budget to spend, but they have identified exactly what they need to boost their chances of survival, and the creativity, work rate, and vast experience of Dorrans puts him high on their shortlist. Movement could be made in the coming hours.
