As reported by BBC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur have signed MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli for around £5M on a five-and-a-half-year deal at White Hart Lane.
The talented 18-year-old will be loaned back to Stadium: MK for the rest of the season as part of the deal, but Spurs are getting their hands on a real English talent. Alli has scored 12 goals in 25 league games from midfield for the MK Dons this season, and had signed a new deal with the club back in September that was going to keep him with the League One outfit until 2017.
But he’s now a Tottenham player, and will be looking to make a name for himself during his time spent in London. MK Dons could hardly turn down £5M for Alli. Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has always looked to the future in regard to the players he signs, and Alli is certainly that. The likes of Liverpool & Bayern Munich were said to have been watching the midfielder throughout this campaign.
